The L90 and L40 smartphones, like the entire new L series, are equipped with its most upgraded operating system Google, Android 4.4 KitKat, in order to offer the most modern Android experience to the user. The new OS provides an improved platform with a balanced look and faster performance.
They also feature the new LG "Knock Code" feature which is designed to facilitate the process of booting and unlocking the device. Using the "Knock Code", the user can activate and unlock the smartphone by tapping one of the 86.000 different combinations with his fingers on the screen. This is because the user can set one to eight hits as his personal combination.
