The fingerprint sensors we know so far are not that subtle. LG Innotek, specializes in creation new hardware, and just announced a new fingerprint sensor that could be under its glass screen you.
Although not the first non-button fingerprint sensor (Nexus 6P and HTC 10 use fairly distinctive fingerprint sensors), the company's announcement means that manufacturers can now completely hide the sensor.
It also helps manufacturers build waterproof phones without the need for waterproof cases.
LG says its new sensor is just as accurate as traditional ones. False positive results reach as much as 0,002 percent.
