Linkin Park new video clip that is a video game

What do they do? Linkin Park to Microsoft;

Microsoft launched its beta Project Spark last December, allowing players and developers  create and play custom games on consoles Xbox.

To promote their new album The Hunting Party, The Linkin Park have collaborated with Microsoft to create an interactive music video that users can take part in, shuffling the scenes to rebuild it from scratch.

The band collaborated with Team Dakota developers to create a seven-minute interactive video for the new single Guilty All the Same and as they say they can play in three acts. The visual effects are suitably quite dark and melancholic, and the overall gameplay seems to indicate that someone is trying to escape from a typical damn landscape that was destroyed by an unhealthy entity. Of course the mixing of the sound with the visual effects, probably suits enough. While it's not entirely clear what can change and in which ways, Microsoft and the band promise players can take scenes from the video and remix the song and gameplay as they want.

Although the presentation is not the most exciting ever, it is quite inventive and seems to make good use of the new Project Spark platform. Linkin Park will offer music video to gamers for free for Xbox and Windows 8.1, and "The Hunting Party" will be released on June 14.
