A day after announcing the official date of the upcoming WWDC 2016 (Worldwide Conference for Developers), Apple today unveiled a information of her mobile computer 12-inch MacBook.
The new version of MacBook 2016 wears the latest processors from Intel, thus adding huge improvements in the performance of graphics and battery life. With the new Skylake processors, the MacBook with the 12-inch Retina display is much faster and lighter. For the first time, we will see it with a rose gold finish.
"MacBook is the thinnest and lightest Mac we've ever built, and it's our vision for the future of portable computing," said Philip Schiller, vice president of Worldwide Marketing Apple.
"Our customers will love this version of the MacBook with the latest processors, faster graphics, faster flash storage, longer battery life and a beautiful pink gold finish."
According to Apple, the new MacBook will feature the sixth generation of Intel Core M dual core processors running at 1,3 GHz and will use the latest Turbo Boost technology to speed things up and give users a frequency at 3,1 GHz. The DDR3 RAM works at 1866 MHz. The brand new Intel HD Graphics 515 graphics card will deliver up to 25% faster graphics performance in the device.
MacBook 2016 brings users a faster PCIe based flash storage and runs on the latest OS X El Capitan. It will work with a more powerful battery that will offer up to 11 hours playing movies from iTunes and 10 hours wireless web browsing.
The new 12-inch laptop will be available shortly from Apple's online store.
