Apple is reportedly replacing batteries from some 13-inch MacBook Pros after reports of a defect causing the built-in battery to "bloat" batterys.
Apple reports that the affected devices are MacBrook Pro that do not have a touch bar and were manufactured from October 2016 until October of 2017.
Device owners can determine if they are eligible for a battery replacement by entering their serial number productto their in support page Apple.
The replacement program batteries it does not apply to 13-inch MacBook Pros with a touch bar or older 13-inch MacBook Pro models, according to Apple's statement.
If any of the owners of the affected devices now bought any new batteries, Apple will refund them money.
