Canonical and Meizu they announced that the new Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu device Edition, is available on the market today.
The Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition was officially announced about two months ago in mid-February 2016 and was then only available for pre-orders. But today Meizu announced that the device is available for anyone who wants to buy it.
It seems that the device is not sold by Meizu directly, but via JD.com or Jingdong Mall, a Chinese e-commerce company, which sends products free in many countries.
"We are excited to announce that the most powerful Ubuntu phone, Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition, is available from en.jd.com, at the 369,99 Dollar” said Amrisha Prashar, Marketing and Social Canonical's Media Manager.

The Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition comes with a Samsung Exynos 7420 Octa-Core processor and MALI T760 GPU. The 5,7-inch AMOLED screen with full HD resolution support (1920 × 1080) and "wears" Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It has 3GB RAM, a camera on 21.16MP and an 5MP on the front. It has a capacity of 32GB, Hi-Fi Audio and two micro-SIM cards.
It is also worth noting that the rear camera comes with PDAF phase laser for assisted focus, and with LARGAN 6P lenses for improved resolution.
