Efforts are paying off, as Bing has reached 20 percent of its market share in the United States, and tends to finally become an alternative to Google Search, but 20% is not enough.

Microsoft having bigger visions, launched the Bing Insider program, aiming to get by about the new features they'd like to see in Bing and to improve the search engine together.

This is not the first time that Microsoft has used such a program in its products. The beginning was made with 10 and the effort started in October 2014.

The purpose of these programs is to help Microsoft get information and suggestions related to and ideas to improve its portfolio services and products, while providing those who participate with access to early features not available to retail customers.

In the case of Bing, however, the program offers only limited positions and can not participate. Microsoft has a research page for interested users, and in the end the company will choose those who wish to participate in this new effort.

“Thank you for your interest in the Insiders Bing Program! Bing Insiders will be a passionate community of Bing users who want to know, and have early access to the latest features. Their feedback can help us make Bing awesome. Interested in joining? Complete this small (3 questions) survey, and we will contact you if you are eligible, ” says the research page.
