Η Microsoft increasingly interested in the industry of w. So the company, in addition to investing in the Band smart wristband, is reportedly looking for new ways to innovate.
And one possible way to do this is to create smart clothes that will be able to identify the feelings of the person wearing them and react accordingly.
Microsoft is considering making such clothes with what it calls a soft cell circuit system that would be connected to sensors to read information such as temperature and heart rate so they can identify sudden changes in someone's emotions.
The collection of this data will help in estimating the user's emotional state.
The emotional state will be determined by a connected device such as a mobile phone, which will then be able to send instructions to the smart clothes on how to react based on those feelings.
For example, if you feel cold, the smart garment could warm you up, or you could start playing relaxing music if you find you are angry.
All of the above have recently been filed in one degree patent from Microsoft. Of course, it's still an idea and it may take a while to see it on store shelves, but it shows how Redmond dreams of the evolution of wearables.
