Microsoft: Free PhotoDNA to Detect Child Pornography

Η announced today that all companies can now use a new cloud-based version of its service for free to detect images of child abuse.PhotoDNA

The company first released PhotoDNA in 2009, but interested parties could only run the service on their own servers, or hubs. .

From today, the service will run in the Microsoft public cloud for free for any company that is thinking of using it.

For those who do not know, PhotoDNA checks the images that circulate on your network from a dataset of the National Center for Missing and Departed Children.

In the past, companies like Facebook and Twitter have used PhotoDNA.
