Ακολουθώντας πιστά την "δημοκρατική" οδό που μας έχει συνηθίσει η Microsoft ανακοίνωσε μια αλλαγή στο Cortana που μάλλον δεν θα ευχαριστήσει την κοινότητα των Windows.
Starting with the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update, users are no longer allowed to completely disable the Cortana digital assistant but only hide it from the taskbar.
So Cortana closure will only be possible with tweaks that disable certain services.
In the current version of Windows 10 Cortana can be disabled from Settings, and the icon on the taskbar will be replaced with a search which allows you to perform searches with Bing.
The upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update seems to change this behavior, and Cortana will continue to search for information locally even if you disable it.
Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows 10 will have options to disable CoRana, but for Home Edition users, disabling will be impossible.
