Microsoft Edge sends the browsing history to Microsoft

Microsoft says about Cortana:

“If you use Cortana with Microsoft Edge, your browsing history will be sent to Microsoft to help Cortana personalize your experience. If you do not want them sent to Microsoft you can disable Have Cortana assist me in Microsoft Edge ".

This setting can be found in the browser under the path Microsoft Edge – Settings – settings – Privacy and services – Have Cortana assist me in Microsoft Edge.

To enable or disable Cortana on Microsoft Edge, scroll to the selection More actions More actions > Settings, in the area Advanced settings, select View advanced settings and then in the area Personal data protection and services, enable or disable the setting Allow Cortana to help me with Microsoft Edge.
