The end of it Adobe Flash seems to be approaching. We've been saying it for years, everyone knows by now that the cons are more than the pros but its removal from the web is constantly delayed.
Microsoft seems to have decided to do something about it theme and added a feature to the Edge browser that will automatically stop ads with Flash content.
So any peripheral content (ads, and random cartoons) will not be displayed if the user does not want to see the blocked content just click on it.
Microsoft says that the Edge update will “significantly reduce consumption energy. "
Microsoft claims the feature is smart enough to distinguish between peripheral content and central content. Central content is considered videos or games.
Hopefully, the tool it won't be too aggressive or buggy and show ads when blocking videos.
