Attention all you e-mail users from Microsoft, as they have just been noticed messages email claiming to be from Microsoft and “WWW email domain host.” The emails are not from Microsoft, but from scammers trying to by clicking here phishing, get your passwords and other private information.
Emails were found on the page Hoax Slayer and they come with theme “REACTIVATE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT!” or in English “REACTIVATE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT!” The emails state:
"According to the email upgrade guidelines from Microsoft Corporation and the WWW email domain host, all unconfirmed accounts email should be suspended for verification. To avoid suspension of your e-mail account, and to keep all the contents of your e-mails, please do an automatic verification by filling out the online verification form. Please click here.”
"In compliance with the email upgrade instructions from Microsoft Corporation and WWW email domain host, all unverified email accounts would be suspended for verification. To avoid suspension of your email account and also to retain all email contents, please perform one time automatic verification by completing the online verification form. Please CLICK HERE.”
These notifications, of course, do not come from Microsoft. When you click here, the cheats are prompting you to drive to a phishing web site where you are asked to enter your email address, password, date of birth, and your phone number.
If you encounter such messages, simply delete them. If you have already been the victim of this fraud, change your password (or passwords if you use it in multiple accounts) as soon as possible.
