Microsoft: silently allows free updates from Windows 7

As we predicted in πριν ακόμη λήξει η upgrade offer from 7 to Windows 10 from Microsoft, the company continues to offer free upgrades from its older operating systems, now implicitly.Windows 7

On May 6, 2016 we reported through the article / opinion “Windows 10 and Microsoft Success Story"

The real bet for Microsoft will retain the adoption of Windows 10 when the free upgrade offer expires. The company reiterated today that users of Windows 7 and 8.1 have only three months (29 July of 2016 is the last day) for the free upgrade, and then the prices will be at 119 dollars for Home Edition, and 199 for the Pro version.

However, we will not be surprised if Microsoft expands its offer. If it doesn't, the company's goal of getting Windows 10 installed to 1 billion "in two to three years" risks not happening. Almost a third of the target has been achieved in nine of the 36 months. But if that pace slows down, Microsoft will have to expand its offering.

Today we read on ghacks that the blog admin was able to get a free upgrade from Windows 7 by purchasing the χρήσης από το ebay.

It was expected. Why;

Keep in mind that Window 10 is a service. This means that they will be updated regularly not only with corrections but also with new features. WindUws 10 developed in a very different way than their predecessors, and is still under development. Let us bring back the information that the company receives through the Windows 10 telemetry, invoking the ongoing development of the operating system.

Meanwhile, the data continues to fill the dumps of the company's big data.

For many reasons, Windows is still vital to the company, and therefore starting their moods pushed very aggressively to adopt Window 10.

After a bunch of Internet complaints Microsoft she admitted openly her aggressive behavior, but it seems to continue to promote its functionality, essentially disregarding what it had announced.

As it seems, the adoption of the operating system by many users (and essentially their removal from Windows 7) is more important than Microsoft's once again caught up with what it announces.

  • This article is not an incentive to upgrade your old Windows 7 to Windows 10.
