If someone told you that Microsoft and Google will work together on a large JavaScript project, would you believe it? Today the company announced this unbelievable collaboration! 
At the NG conferences held in Salt Lake City, the Angular team announced that it is already in close collaboration with Microsoft's TypeScript team for its development Angular 2 but also the change of TypeScript and other AtScripts.
TypeScript is a superset of JavaScript, which offers additional features in JavaScript.
Angular is one of the most popular JavaScript frameworks, but the version two encountered difficulties since the developers could not provide a smooth transition path from the first version of Angular to allow for a number of important changes of the new version.
That's why Google and Microsoft will work together on such a big project. This again shows that Microsoft is delaying but slowly opening and giving back to open source, as reported by TNW.
