As far as the changes that come with Windows 10, Microsoft has announced a new setting for users who install the new operating system. The new option replaces the previous Express settings that occur during Windows 10 installation according to the company.
So those who are upgrading from Windows 7, Windows 8 or performing a new clean install should be able to see what Microsoft describes as "simple but important settings", or "simple but important settings", while those who already have Windows 10 will be prompted to update the privacy settings with a notification.
These new settings will come with the upcoming Creators Update.
Telemetry settings in Windows 10 will be simplified from three different levels to two, namely Basic and Full. This means that the Enhanced level will no longer exist, and users who use it will need to change to Basic or Full after installing the Creators Update.
According to Microsoft, what is most important is that the base layer will send far less telemetry data to the company's servers.
“These will include data that is vital to the mode of Windows. We use this data to keep Windows and apps secure, up-to-date, and blah blah blah, Microsoft says in announcement of new features.
