Microsoft has nine security updates for 37 vulnerabilities

Η Microsoft released the Security overview for the month of August 2014, offering information related to all security and non-security patches that come with the latest updates.

A total of nine updates this month, which come to fix security issues in Windows, Internet Explorer, Windows Server software, .NET and Office.

Two of these updates are classified as "critical" by the company while the other seven are classified as "significant".

In addition to these regular updates for August, there is also a smaller update for the Windows 8.1 operating system that adds three new features and improvements. But it is likely that users will not even notice it.
A total of nine security updates have been released that address 37 .

Distribution by Operating System

Vulnerabilities can affect operating systems differently or not at all. This month's distribution shows this clearly, as Vista and RT will receive critical and three major updates, while all other systems will receive two critical and four important updates.

The least affected systems are Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
