H Microsoft is designed to compete with the widespread in America, low-cost, Chromebooks of Google, as shown in her plans for last quarter of 2014.
At the Partner Conference companyς, the COO Kevin Turner revealed that the HP plans to release a laptop with Windows which will be priced at 199 dollars.
There is currently no more information about the HP laptop, but little information has been shown about a laptop to be built by Acer and Toshiba, with price 250 dollars.
Her laptop Acer will be available with screen 15,6 inch and Intel Celeron processor with frequency 2,16GHz, while its proposal Toshiba will have a smaller form factor and will come with a screen 11,6 inch.
Kevin Turner also revealed that HP plans to release 7 and 8 inches youth publications "Stream”PCs for 99 dollars in the last quarter of 2014, which will run some version of Windows.
Microsoft gradually cuts prices on Windows licenses to allow manufacturers to drop prices and looks like this year wants to compete loudly with Google and Chromebooks.
