If you are looking for an anti-virus, you should know that Microsoft has just released its new preview version Security Essentials.
Be warned that Microsoft Security Essentials is often considered by testers to be a not-so-strong protection program. Microsoft Security Essentials 4.6.205.0 Pre-Release is apparently a release previewof the next stable version of the app, so it's supposed to work properly on newer Windows operating systems. You should note that it should not be installed on production systems.
