Yesterday we published AOL's decision to stop the development and release of the application Winamp. The application will officially stop at 20 December 2013, but as it turns out the media player is very dear to end so ghastly.
Microsoft is reportedly interested in acquiring AOL media player and service Shoutcast. There is still no official confirmation from the Redmond, but as the valid states TechCrunch, citing anonymous sources, that Microsoft and AOL are already in communication.
A possible deal that could be announced on December 20, the date i.e. when Winamp's retirement has been announced.
