The Midori web browser was born on 16 December toy 2007 led by Christian Dywan. The developer's goal was to develop an alternative, lightweight, fast, free and open source browser, and as it seems it did.
Developed with WebKit Technologies, GTK and rewritten with Vala. For privacy, Midori since birth uses the DuckDuckGo search engine for all of your web searches.
2019, the Midori project merged with the Astian Foundation (Astian Foundation) to evolve further, maintaining the same principles as the original project.
