Every cosmetic company on the planet has one product which claims to reduce wrinkles and fade signs of aging. But MIT researchers have reportedly developed a new lifting cream that creates an additional invisible artificial skin by erasing the user's wrinkles.
Ερευνητές από το MIT και το Harvard ανέπτυξαν ένα υλικό, για μια ιδιωτική εταιρεία βιοτεχνολογίας που ονομάζεται Living Proof. Το λεγόμενο XPL (συντομογραφία για το διασυνδεδεμένη στρώση πολυμερούς) εφαρμόζεται με μία απλή procedure two-stage and produces rather miraculous results.
The first layer consists of polysiloxane components, while the second layer is a platinum catalyst that reacts with the first layer and forms a strong material that can withstand washing and other wear for up to 24 hours.

The applications of the discovery presented by MIT are many. Except that it can be used to wipe out wrinkles, it can also protect the user's skin, especially over wounds. In addition, the material can reduce the loss of moisture, although the average consumer would probably be very excited just because using the cream looks younger.
