Stikey: What about a Greek multi-accessory at Kickstarter?

Stikey: Meletis Michelakakis and Ilias Kalogeropoulos, are the founders of a design start-up of, dcubed, based in Vrilissia.

Their goal is to bring their ideas to fruition addressed to the public inside and outside of Greece.Stikey

The Stikey is their first product as dcubed and is a versatile accessory for smartphones.
To be able to fund the children, they chose to present it on the crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter.

Ο Study of Michelakakis and Elias Kalogeropoulos, inform readers of iGuRu.gr:

"Just 2 weeks after the start, we have already raised 11.500 euros from the target of 16.000 euros (70%)! This has been done with the help of 376 supporters in our campaign so far. It is very encouraging that almost half of them are supporters from Greece and Stikey is the first project to support kickstarter.
The experience of presenting a future product directly to the target audience so massively and in a dynamic way that encourages user participation in its final formatting is unique.
So we have been given the opportunity, after several comments and ideas from our supporters, to develop our product functionally by making it even more possible! Specifically, the new uses we have now queued and offered through Stikey are:
  1. The possibility of using the base of the package in the car as a magnetic base for the mobile (It works on the Greek roads!)
  2. The possibility to use Stikey in addition to smartphones and with small tablets (eg iPad mini), που μας ζητήθηκε από πολλούς backers για να το χρησιμοποιούν στο tablet τους ενώ βλέπουν or when they write texts with their keyboard.

As things seem, based on the dynamics of our project, the campaign will go quite well! It is therefore important to maintain this momentum, so that Stíkey continues to be in the popular projects (among the 440 projects in the category design right now).”
