H Modular Robotics, is a Boulder-based company and plans to release robot kits that will allow you to build a type of robot you want without requiring any programming.
The kits, called MOSS, come in three different sizes. The largest of these contain pieces to build your robot, in various shapes and sizes. All are made of plastic which is placed around several magnets and bearings, which will allow you to assemble a robot as you would with Legos.
The company is also planning to release an application to control these semi-autonomous structures. After installing the app, the software will let you direct the robot from your smartphone or tablet. According to the company's publication at Kickstarter, you will be able to customize these actions.
MOSS requires no computer programming knowledge, said Eric Schweikardt, CEO and director of design at Modular Robotics, at Mashable.
The company has published the project on Kickstarter, looking for funding and apparently money have already been saved and the project will be launched in February 2014.
