If you like the look of Microsoft Edge, but prefer to work with Firefox, then you can combine both.
You can have your favorite Firefox browser with colors and a menu like Mozilla Edge.
The appearance of a program is completely subjective and a matter of taste so to speak. And since tastes vary from user to user, they certainly exist users out there who prefer its design Edge.
If you are one of them, then let us know that you are now able to convert your Firefox to look like Microsoft's browser, but do not sacrifice anything from the functionality of Firefox.
Before we take a look at procedure, we would like to show you a screenshot of what Firefox will look like after the conversion.
The conversion process has three basic steps:
Step 1: Install the add-on Stylish in Firefox, which will help you to add instructions for the theme to Firefox.
Step 2: Then install the add-on Buttons back which moves the Stop / Reload and Home buttons back to the top of the address bar. Restart Firefox.
Step 3: Download this topic from Deviant Art after you have installed the two previous Firefox add-ons and restarted your browser.
- Unzip it to your system and then open the Main Theme folder created by unpacking.
- There you will find a text file, the “Mozilla Edge [Rev. 4203-D] .txt ”. Open this file and copy (Ctrl-C) all the text and code in it.
- Finally go to Firefox addons (You can also write the address: about: addons) and from there click on "Create a new style" from Stylish.
- Enter a name for the new style, say "Edge from iguru" and paste all the text with the code you copied in step 3.2 (Paste with Ctrl-V)
- Save and Enable
If all went well Firefox should now look a lot more like Microsoft Edge. This includes not only the colors and the general layout of the browser, but also the menu that now simulates the Edge menu, as you can see in the screenshot above.
If again you do not see any change or it all sucks or you just do not like the new look you can undo all the changes at any time if you disable or remove the style from the add-ons.
