The roof of his new building Facebook, offers an incredible view of nine acres of greenery. It is located above the swampy areas of Menlo Park California. The building was recently completed and over the weekend, Facebook officially moved into the building, known as MPK 20.
The new complex is just one of the many prominent buildings that will house its giants Silicon Valley the next. Apple is designing its own in Cupertino that looks like a giant alien spaceship. Google uses endless glass to create a “super-transparent” building in Mountain View, and Samsung is close to completing its own glass building in San Jose. But the Facebook building is something different.
It is large enough to hold about 2.800 employees of Facebook. It was designed by Frank Gehry, the man who covered the walls of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles with silver-like cloth, according to Wired.
