Facebook removed instant messages from the main mobile application forcing users to download the Messenger app so they can chat with their friends.
So the members of the largest social network who want to read their messages from mobile devices, are in front of a message that states that "your conversations have been moved to Messenger."
After the message is displayed, the user is automatically transferred to the Facebook Messenger download page on Google Play.
The motivation behind this new move by Facebook seems to make sense. The social network already has two of the most popular messaging services in the world. One is obviously the WhatsApp and the other Messenger that became autonomous from the social network.
So the company seems to be planning to separate its services by leaving Facebok's main application for browsing and publishing content, while Messenger will be just for chatting with groups and friends.
But one app for Messenger and one for the main Facebook app is too much... This practically means two separate apps for the same service στις κινητές συσκευές σας. Μάλλον το Faceboοk δεν σκέφτηκε και τόσο πολύ την διάρκεια ζωής της μπαταρίας, ή την μετάβαση από τη μία εφαρμογή στην άλλη.
