So at the press conference he spoke a few hours ago, he revealed the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet, the new top smartphone and tablet respectively.

Although it retains the design of the Xperia Z1, the previous smartphone-"flagship" of the Japanese company, the Xperia Z2 has a new 5,2" IPS screen that, named Live Color LED, renders the largest range of colors in "smart" , according to Sony. As for the rest of the upgrades, the new one stands out (Snapdragon 801 2,3GHz), the largest RAM memory (3GB) and the battery, which has a capacity of 3200mAh.

Z2 is waterproof, like Z1, also maintaining the same maximum resolution (20,7 Megapixel) in its camera, but it can now receive Ultra HD Ultra HD. It is also equipped with improved stereo speakers.

Also water resistant is the 10,1'' Xperia Z2 Tablet, which is ultra-thin (6,4mm) and ultra-light (426g) – the thinnest and lightest waterproof tablet, Sony claims. Like the Xperia Z2, this too comes with a Live Color LED display, also Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM.

However, its main camera has a lower resolution (8,1 Megapixel), while incorporating a larger battery (6.000 mAh).

The two new models will be released in March, pre-installed with the latest version of Google's operating system ( 4.4). Also, as Sony revealed, in March the SmartBand will be launched on the market – an "intelligent" wristband that, in addition to measuring various biological parameters, will allow its user to record his social activities as well.
