Inaugurated in New York City the National Museum of 11 September (National September 11 Memorial Museum). The inauguration took place on Thursday morning with a very emotional ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the president Barack Obama and former mayor of New York Mike Bloomberg, many government officials, survivors, rescuers and relatives of the victims who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.
The construction of the museum lasted eight years and contains many finds from the World Trade area Center, such as the ladders that many had used to leave the collapsing towers, pieces of airplanes and more that are chilling.
The museum will be open to the public from Tuesday onwards.
