The Never10 free tool was developed by Steve Gibson security researcher, it is trusted, it does not contain adware, viruses or other malware. Essentially, it works as a frontend for Microsoft's hidden settings that prevent upgrading to Windows 10.

It should be noted that with this application, even the famous "Get Windows 10" (GWX) icon on your system will disappear.
After opening the app with a double click Never 10 will tell you if the upgrade to Windows 10 is enabled on your system. If it is, click the “Reply” buttonactivation Win10 Upgrade”.
Keep in mind that the GWX icon will not disappear immediately from your system, but will leave after a simple reboot.
You can also click the "Remove Win10 Files" button to remove the upgrade files from your system, and free up space on your hard disk. However, according to Gibson, Windows automatically removes these files anyway, so it does not make much sense to remove them now or let Windows do it later.
