facebook hoax

New Hoax "I ADDRESS to all of you who are on my Facebook contact list"

facebook hoax

It circulates among us, it warns us of what bad can happen to us and urges for its dissemination. The particular hoax (prank) is a variant of an earlier one. The hoax states:

I ADDRESS to all of you who are on my Facebook contact list. I would like to ask a favor from you….
What you may not know is that Facebook has changed the shape of our privacy again. Thanks to the new “Graphics app”, every on FB anywhere in the world can see them us , " comments " our and " ” μας . Κατά τη for the next two weeks, I'm going to keep this message and ask you to do what I write below and when you do it in the comment to write "Done" so I know you did it.
Those who do not should be removed from my friends list, because I want the information I share with you, my friends, to remain among my friends and not be available to the world. I want to be able to post photos of my friends and family, without unknown strangers being able to see them, which is what happens now when you click "like" or "comment". Unfortunately we cannot change this configuration because FB has done this without our permission, from this way down

1. So, please hover over my photo that appears in this box (without clicking) and will open a window.
2. Now move the cursor to the word "Friends" again, without clicking and then to "Settings". Click on "Settings"
3. Un –check “Important Personal Moments / Life Events” and “Comments and Like” to be () like this. This way the activity with my family and friends will not be made public.
4. Now copy and paste this text into your own wall (not share.) Copy paste .. When I see it on your page, I will do a -check the same.

Naturally, nothing of this is true since every Facebook user has accepted the terms of service of the site to make his Facebook registration. Whatever you write on your timeline is redundant as you are part of a social network with its own terms and conditions of use.

The hoax creator tries to take advantage of the latest publications about the changes that the popular social network is making. Of course, the insecurity of any user who thinks the data he has uploaded to his page would not want to be in the hands of third parties causes the prank to spread.

However, if you do not want your third party to use your data, it is advisable not to post them, so simple.

Meanwhile the creator of hoax sees the first post he made spread and laughs….
