A new scam is being released on Facebook. As a reader of iGuRu.gr (administrator of safer-internet.gr) informed us, a malicious publication has begun to appear on the largest social network since yesterday.
Fraud is malicious and aggressive as it replicates automatically if a fake user proceeds with the steps outlined below:
The post appears on the scam victim's pages and displays an image porn, prompting users – friends of the victim – to open a page to view the alleged video. The links that are supposed to lead to the video are shown below:
If someone now goes ahead and opens any of the links, he will find himself in front of the alleged video requiring age verification, also asking for the number of a phone where he will send a code to display the video. (The specific fraud, except for the infections it causes in the victim's systems, also records mobile numbers)
We find it unlikely that anyone will be persuaded to give their cell phone number to such an obvious scam, but playing Scam on Facebook shows just the opposite…
As you can see, even if fraud is obvious, there are still some people who are comfortable with their mobile number!

If someone is already a victim of fraud, it is recommended to check what applications have been installed on his FB page, and delete that he does not know. Immediately after deletion, the password must be changed accessand to scan his computer with a reliable anti-virus.
