The P0sixspwn (tool for jailbreak iOS 6) will not be released for the latest firmware released by Apple as reported by iH8sn0w on Twitter.
So the newer version of iOS, 6.1.6, released on Friday to deal with a serious vulnerability will not be jailbreaked.
While evad3rs has just released an updated evasi0n that supports jailbreak for iOS 7.0.6, iH8sn0w won't. As he says on Twitter: "Don't expect an update to untethered jailbreak in 6.1.6 with p0sixspwn."
If you are on iOS 6 and want to keep your jailbreak, you better stay away from iOS 6.1.6 and better safety you to use its patch Ryan Petrich that fixes the SSL vulnerability in iOS. On the other hand, if you want to be safe and you are not interested in jailbreak, better to update your operating system.
