The NSA apologizes for the latest revelations of Edward Snowden

The US National Security Service (NSA) has issued a statement in response to recent charges (PDF) that the service has infected millions of computers with software.

Earlier this week, Glenn Greenwald through the Intercept website, leaked his files Edward Snowden that they say NSA has tools at its disposal that allow it to automatically infect millions of computers from around the world.

Read how it does from here and here.

The NSA did not usually respond to reports from Snowden, but this time it responded. The agency says reports based on the latest leaked documents by Snowden "are inaccurate."

Η capability should be understood in the context of a legal, policy and operational framework within which that expertise should be used," the agency's statement said.

"NSA authorities demand that acts against foreign secret services should uphold valid national security requirements, protect the legitimate privacy interests of all people. The NSA does not use its technical capabilities to emulate other companies' websites. "

We have to confess that the statements of the secret service are very well drafted, but that does not mean they are believers. Especially after all that we have heard.
