It's back on Facebook, and no it's not big scam as reported by some "valid" Greek websites "specialist" in online scams. It is a harmless message that appears with variations from 2012 and states:
“Λόγω του γεγονότος ότι το Facebook έχει επιλέξει να εμπλέξει το λογισμικό που θα επιτρέψει την κλοπή των προσωπικών μου πληροφοριών, δηλώνω τα εξής: ως απάντηση στις νέες κατευθυντήριες γραμμές Faceboοk και σύμφωνα με τα άρθρα L.111,112 και 113 του code πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας, δηλώνω ότι τα δικαιώματά μου είναι συνδεδεμένα με όλα τα προσωπικά μου δεδομένα, που δημοσιεύθηκαν στο προφίλ μου. Για εμπορική χρήση των ανωτέρω χρειάζεται γραπτή συγκατάθεση μου ανά πάσα στιγμή. Όσοι διαβάζετε αυτό το κείμενο να το αντιγράψετε και να το επικολλήσετε στο Faceboοk τοίχο σας. Αυτό θα σας επιτρέψει να τεθούν τα δεδομένα υπό την προστασία της πνευματικής ιδιοκτησίας. Με αυτή την έκδοση, λέω στο Facebook ότι απαγορεύεται αυστηρά να αποκαλύψει, να αντιγράψει, να διανέμει, να αναμεταδώσει ή να προβεί σε οποιαδήποτε άλλη ενέργεια εναντίον μου με βάση αυτό το προφίλ ή / και του περιεχομένου του. Οι ενέργειες που αναφέρονται παραπάνω ισχύουν εξίσου για τους εργαζόμενους, τους φοιτητές, τους αντιπροσώπους ή / και το λοιπό προσωπικό υπό την καθοδήγηση του Faceboοk. Το περιεχόμενο του προφίλ μου περιλαμβάνει προσωπικές information. Violation of my privacy is punishable by law (UCC 1 1-308 – 308 1 to 103 and the Rome Statute). Facebook is now an open capital entity. All members are invited to post an announcement of this kind, or if you prefer, you can copy and paste this text. If you do not post a corresponding statement, you will be implicitly allowing the use of the elements such as your photos as well as the personal information contained on your page.”
Of course this is not the case as with every new registration, the user states that he accepts the terms of use of the social network.
From time to time we have heard and read various publications with the involvement of the largest social network in legal disputes with the European Union. However, the Terms of Use or TOS have not changed.
The message seems to be a bad translation of a corresponding English version that runs parallel. Avoid filling your Timeline with rubbish because even the laws mentioned in the above message do not exist. .
