The smartphone manufacturer OnePlus today revealed a infringement security in its online store.
The violation was probably made last week but was immediately discovered, according to an FAQ page that published earlier today.
OnePlus says that the hackers
OnePlus believes that the hacker's entry point was a vulnerability on its website, but did not provide more details.
"We have inspected our site in detail to ensure that there are no similar security vulnerabilities," the company said.
"Before announcing the leak, we informed our online partners via e-mail. We are currently working with the competent authorities to further investigate the incident ", says a member of the security team of OnePlus in a forum post, separately from the company publication in the FAQ.
This is the second security breach in the company's short history. We saw a similar situation January of 2018, when intruders managed to access 40.000 user data.
What am I doing now;
If you are a customer of the company, it is advisable to watch the next time. You should immediately change the password on the OnePlus portal (despite the company's claims that they did not leak passwords) and be careful of any emails that come to you.
Avoid clicking on links contained in emails and do not open attachments if you do not expect them.
