OnePlus smartphone maker today revealed a security breach in its online store.
The violation was probably made last week but was immediately discovered, according to an FAQ page that published earlier today.
OnePlus says the hackers gained access to past customer orders that included names, contacts, emails and shipping addresses. According to the company, no codes were leaked access or financial data.
OnePlus believes the hackers' entry point was a vulnerability on its website, but did not provide further details.
"We have inspected our site in detail to ensure that there are no similar security vulnerabilities," the company said.
"Before announcing the leak, we informed our online partners via e-mail. We are currently working with the competent authorities to further investigate the incident ", says a member of the security team of OnePlus in a forum post, separately from the company publication in the FAQ.
This is the second security breach in short record the company's. A similar situation we saw him January of 2018, when intruders managed to access 40.000 user data.
What am I doing now;
If you are a customer of the company, it would be good to be careful in the next period. You should change immediately code access the OnePlus portal (despite the company's claims that no passwords were leaked) and pay attention to every email that comes your way.
Avoid clicking on links contained in emails and do not open attachments if you do not expect them.
