A 20 inch tablet from Panasonic running Windows 8.1 will be released in the US in January at the amazing price of 5.999 dollars.
Panasonic first introduced the tablet (then "wearing" Windows 8) at CES almost a year ago. The device has an amazing screen resolution of 3840 × 2560. The Panasonic Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 tablets will run Windows 8.1 Pro with an Intel processor (Core i5 clocked at 1.9GHz). Will have RAM 8GB and a hard drive SSD 256GB. The tablet has a magnesium alloy frame reinforced with glass fibers and Panasonic claims it can withstand a drop almost by a meter.
There is of course a Desktop Dock that is sold as an optional accessory in case you want to use it as an all-in-one PC, along with an electronic touch pen. Its estimated battery life is up to two hours.
