On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April 2022, the Panhellenic Final of the FIRST LEGO League Educational Robotics Research and Innovation Competition will be held in Thessaloniki.
The top 50 teams that successfully qualified for the Panhellenic Final Competition of the Qualifiers in Volos, Rhodes, Crete, Athens, Xanthi, Ioannina and Thessaloniki compete shortly before representing us at the World Championships.
Among them all four Greek teams, which have already been nominated and are vying for a place among the twenty best teams in the world, which will compete June 21-23, 2022 in the USA. for Project Καινοτομίας τους σχετικά με την επίλυση πραγματικών προβλημάτων που σχετίζονται με τις μεταφορές. Through FIRST LEGO League Competitions and programs, children discover and embrace science and technology in the most fun way by acquiring confidence in their abilities and believing in themselves, while teaching them valuable life skills. This is a collaboration of the Non-Profit Organization FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the educational sector of LEGO Education and is organized every year, since 1998, in more than 110 countries worldwide.
A total of 1.000 children, coaches and volunteers in the Challenge category for ages 9-16 will participate in the Panhellenic Final Competition.
The closing ceremony and the announcement of the qualifiers will take place on Sunday, April 3 at 14:00 live for all the teams in a fun and festive atmosphere.
