Η PayPal ανακοίνωσε σήμερα την συνεργασία της με το Skype, που επιτρέπει σε users in Greece and 21 other countries to send money to other Skype users with PayPal through the Skype mobile app.
With over one billion Skype downloads on mobile to date, users will be able to use PayPal directly from Skype application to send money seamlessly - for example for a gift to a family member in their own country or abroad.
P2P payments are one of the biggest driving forces for consumer engagement for PayPal.
More than 7 million dollars per hour are sent to friends and relatives worldwide via PayPal P2P, Venmo and Xoom. By working with Skype, we offer P2P payments with PayPal in more places and in different circumstances - where people connect online and mobile - such as through a voice command with Siri, chat with Slack, and email via Microsoft Outlook.com.
The ability to send money through PayPal on Skype goes live today for PayPal and Skype users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.
The app will initially be available to Skype customers using the latest version of Skype for mobile Appliances iOS and Android.
