PHP, an HTML-built scripting language with syntax borrowed from C, Java, and Perl, with a host of unique PHP-specific features, arrived at version 5.5.9.
PHP 5.x contains a new OOP model based on Zend Engine 2.0, a new extension for improved MySQL support, built-in support for SQLite, and more.
According to notes of the new version, a heap error has been fixed Overflow in imagecrop, PHP does not crash if opcache.interned_strings_buffer=0, and PDO-pgsql can connect if the password contains spaces.
Also, the session module no longer sends multiple set-cookies headers όταν το session.use_strict_mode=1, η συνάρτηση (function) basename πλέον αφαιρεί το γράμμα μονάδας του δίσκου, και δεν αποτυγχάνει πιά η κατάρτιση της PHP extension με την C++ std library using VS 2012.
