"This is not the real Netflix," Jevans said: "You have an app that has been altered and sends passwords and credit card details to Russia."

The fake Netflix app was pre-installed when the organization purchased the device. Marble Security then checked devices from other customers and found the problem to be very widespread. They spotted a fake version of Netflix for mobile and tablets from at least four different manufacturers.
