Microsoft was released an emergency security update for Dangerous vulnerability PrintNightmare (zero-day) affecting the Windows Print Spooler service.
The update was released as soon as possible and outside the company's security updates due to the seriousness of the issue, which brought great relief to millions of businesses and consumers around the world who were trying to fix the problem.

Microsoft has released security updates to fix the problem, covering all active versions of Windows 10 (even some that are no longer active, such as Windows 10 version 1507) Windows 8.1 as well as Windows 7 which are also no longer supported.
But there are some exceptions, such as Windows 10 version 1607, on Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2012, where the company will release the update later.
How to install the PrintNightmare update
For those using Windows 10, installing the PrintNightmare security update is a no-brainer procedure and works similarly to any other update.
Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings
In the section Update and security> Windows Update
Select Check for Updates. Download and install the latest update, and then restart your system.
