Windows offers several ways to get one screenshot without the use of third-party tools. How about the idea of doing it with a dedicated shortcut, without third-party tools and without pressing the necessary keys?
Below we will see how you can create a special shortcut that will use the built-in feature of the operating system to get that screenshots you want.
As you may know, you can capture a snapshot of it screenby pressing the Win + Print Screen keys together. Your screen will appear to flash for half a second, then return to its normal brightness. But the screenshot is ready and has been saved in the path: This computer\Photos\Screenshots.
So we will try to automate what we described above, using special scripting tools. AutoHotkey can help us a lot. So we can create one script του AutoHotkey που αργότερα θα μετατρέψουμε σε εκτελέσιμο αρχείο.
The AutoHotkey script is only two series:
#NoTrayIcon Send # {PrintScreen}
The two above lines will press the Win + Print Screen keys for you.
To manually create the executable file, you need to install AutoHotkey from here and (Ahk 2 Exe). Copy and save to the txt file the above lines.
Then change the extension of the .txt file to .ahk. If you can not do that use AutoHotkey. To convert it to .exe use it Ahk 2 Exe.
If all of this seems Chinese, download the .exe from the link at the end of the article.
You can use the exe as it is, or by putting it in your taskbar. You can also create a shortcut for the iGuRu.exe file and assign it a hotkey so that you only need to press a keyu to take screenshots.
Exe works in Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1.
Download its exe iGuRu.gr
