Project Alloy by Intel: Mixed reality without wires

Project Alloy: Every forward-looking company has reportedly turned to device development ς ή επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας. Project Alloy

It allows to to see their own hands, and use them to interact with objects in the game.

Using RealSense cameras the device can detect the movements of the user's fingers which allows users to manipulate objects through - αναιρώντας έτσι την ανάγκη για ελεγκτές.

According to Intel CEO Brian Krzanich:

Mixed reality is relatively a more natural way of interacting with the manipulation of virtual environments. It releases you from the controllers and chucks of today's VR systems, giving you control over your hands for simulation experiences with new detection technologies.

So the device will be completely wireless, without the need to use a join stick or any controllers. Of course we do not know whether the device's dependence on WiFi will slow down the computer's response time that could ruin the experience.

We will see it next year with the release of the new device.
