The new Q4OS 'Orion' 1.8.5 is the latest stable version of the distribution and comes with various improvements and fixes (Just released, download ISO before the official announcement).
The most important new feature is the integration of alternative work environments. So if you do not like the Trinity desktop, you can choose to change to another Linux-like Linux: KDE, Xfce, or LXDE.
The Q4OS Orion distribution stopped supporting the LXQT and according to the developers it will come back with the release of Q4OS Scorpion.
The Icedove messaging application is no longer available from program Q4OS installation, as it has been replaced by Thunderbird 45.8.
