The qBittorrent provides a free one software just like that μTorrent except that the particular application runs and offers the same characteristics on all major platforms (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, OS / 2, FreeBSD).
The qBittorrent is based on Qt4 toolkit and the libtorrent-rasterbar.
QBittorrent has been developed by volunteers in their free time. If you like, please make a donation and help it survive. (note from their website)
Basic Changes to qBittorrent 3.3.2?
The program was upgraded from Qt4 to Qt5.
Qt is a cross-platform application development framework. Along with this new feature, the new app will bring a new patch to core issues that will resolve issues with labels, temporary folders, and other key features that some users reported as having problems using earlier versions of the client.
Note: When upgrading to qBittorrent's 3.3.0 version, you will not be able to go back to a previous version. The program will display a warning about it. To upgrade to Ubuntu
add PPA for the stable version and upgrade from terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: qbittorrent-team / qbittorrent-stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent
