How would you like to test your knowledge by playing with friends and people from all over Greece using just your mobile? The Quizdom, a new app released in the summer, came to fill this gap in the rapidly growing landscape of Greek applications and is already well-known.
This is a game of knowledge questions with social character as it allows you to confront real-time with friends and other users from all over Greece. The aim of its creators was to integrate the educational nature of the applications of the genre into a more active and interactive context, thus combining knowledge, competition and natural fun
And apparently they are doing it quite well, since in less than 1,5 months of launch Quizdom has already acquired a fanatical audience. More than 35.000 unique users have downloaded the app on their smartphones, with daily active players spending more than an hour on their screens! So it's no coincidence that it very quickly rose to the top of the AppStore's free apps list, while for 6 weeks now it has been number one in the category of Trivia games.
How to play the Quizdom
Except social On the other hand, the application seems to be winning the world thanks to the simple gameplay. The user sends an invitation to a friend via Facebook, WhatsApp or Viber or selects a random opponent to start the match. The two opponents choose from 2 categories each (from 16 totally available), and each game consists of 4 rounds of 4 questions. Players compete alternately on the same questions and the winner is the one with the most correct answers (in the event of a tie is the quickest one).
Either win or lose, the user earns points according to the level of his opponent and is slowly rising to levels climbing to the top of the ranking. Of course, the corresponding statistics are available both at individual level (points, better categories, winning rates) and in total (Top-100 players).
Free for Android and iOS
The app is currently available for free at Android and iOS, while a PRO is expected to be released in the near future version with some additional benefits.
