Major changes today at Reddit, as CEO Yishan Wong resigned and co-founder Alexis Ohanian returned to the company as Executive Chairman. Ellen Pao will take over as interim CEO.
Ohanian left the popular by clicking here, in 2010 to work with a nonprofit and write a book. He is also active at Y Combinator, where he recently became a partner. Now it's back on Reddit for a new investment round, the amount of 50 million dollars.
According to the president of Y Combinator Sam altman, Wong resigned due to disagreement with Reddit's board over the plan for a new office. Altman had been acting as interim CEO for eight days before today's announcement.
