Rhino Linux reinvents the Ubuntu experience as a rolling-release distribution based on a stable desktop environment.
Pacstall is at the heart of the distribution, providing core packages such as the Linux kernel, Firefox, other Rhino Linux signature applications and themes.
Pacstall for those in the know is the AUR for Ubuntu i.e. the Arch User Repository that Arch Linux uses and is different from any other package manager.
PacStall uses the stable base of Ubuntu, but lets you use newly released software with little or no compromise, so you don't have to worry about security updates or new features.
PacStall takes files known as PACScripts (similar to PKGBUILDS) that contain the necessary contents to build packages and builds them into executables on your system.
What does this mean;
Pacstall will always provide the latest software, even if it is not available in the Ubuntu repositories
The XFCE desktop environment is used for the stable and rock-solid base of the operating system with a customized configuration so that you can start using your computer right away.
If you are interested in the distribution you can find more information on the official website.
